Company visit to HoSt & Foseco Vesuvius
KIVI Students Twente, the UT Young Alumni Network and Kennispark invite young talent to an exceptional opportunity to connect with two state-of-the-art high-tech companies with UT DNA during a Walking Dinner.
Participating companies
HoSt is revolutionizing the renewable energy landscape with over 450 renewable systems in 35 countries. During the visits you will hear how the founder of HoSt, UT alumnus Herman Klein Teeselink, developed this innovative company working in biogas production and waste-fired boiler plants.
Foseco is the foundry division from Vesuvius PLC. In Enschede they have the global R&D center. Vesuvius is the global leader in the foundry and steel industries. During the company visit you will explore their foundry solutions and the R&D center right here in Twente.
Who should you join?
This event offers young alumni and recent graduates the chance to explore groundbreaking innovations and engage with pioneering, world-class industry leaders.
The walking dinner features a progressive format where participants will visit two companies. Each company will provide a short presentation, light refreshments, and finger food. After the presentation, participants will be guided through a tour or process demo before walking to the next company.

- 16:20 - 16:30 Arrival at HoSt
- 16:30 - 17:30 Visit HoSt Energy Systems
- 17:30 - 17:45 Walk to Foseco (Vesuvius Group)
- 17:45 - 18:45 Visit Foseco
- 18:45 - 19:15 Networking drinks at Vesuvius Foseco
During the company visits, participants will enjoy light refreshments and finger food.
