Terugblik op webtalk #35 ElaadNL: Lantaarnpalen als laadpunt, het ei van Columbus?

In een aantal proeven wordt bekeken of je lantaarnpalen ook kunt gebruiken als laadpunt voor elektrische auto's. Dat lijkt het ei van Columbus maar er komt meer bij kijken dan je denkt. Gerben Spies (ElaadNL) en Bart Borghols (Alliander) laten hun licht schijnen over de potentie van deze innovatie. Wat zijn bijvoorbeeld de technische mogelijkheden en onmogelijkheden voor het aansluiten van de laadlantaarns op het stroomnet? Wat kunnen we leren van de ervaringen in het buitenland en wat is de status van de Nederlandse pilots? Krijgt elke lantaarnpaal straks ook een laadpunt?

Terugkijken E-Lunchsessie: Schaalbare energieopslag op zee! De missing link in de Energietransitie?

In het energiesysteem van de toekomst wordt veel elektriciteit opgewekt met behulp van zonnepanelen en windmolens. Deze hernieuwbare energie heeft één nadeel: ze is weersafhankelijk. Als de zon niet schijnt of de wind niet waait, wordt er geen elektriciteit opgewekt. Het aanbod van energie gaat fluctueren. De vraag naar energie heeft daarentegen een eigen cyclus. Vraag en aanbod komen niet meer vanzelfsprekend overeen. Om dit probleem te ondervangen worden verschillende (deel-)oplossingen ontwikkeld. Bijvoorbeeld het stimuleren van een aanbod gestuurde vraag, aanvullende wijzen van opwekking van elektriciteit, of opslag van energie.

Interflex: Grid, batteries, PV and electric cars combined to prevent congestion

Distribution system operators are investigating methods to facilitate a high penetration of distributed energy resources while maintaining network reliability and stability. Testing and demonstrating those methods is the goal of the Interflex project. It is an H2020 project in 6 EU countries. Enexis is in the lead of Dutch part. A demonstrator has been realized at the living-lab of Strijp-S (Eindhoven) to show congestion management.
