KIVI is making swift progress with setting up the Chartership structure in the Netherlands. In this development, we have come to the point where it is important to benefit optimally from all the expertise that has been gathered so far. Therefore, KIVI has organised two training sessions to train possible assessors.
In December last year, KIVI organised the first training session for Chartered Engineers and expert assessors. This first training session was an in-depth look at the Netherlands Standards for Professional Engineering Competence (NL-SPEC), the guiding document for Chartership in the Netherlands. The session was very interactive with great participation from all attendees. Homework was also assigned for the Christmas Break in order for the participants to practice what they had learnt so far.
The second training session, which will take place this January, will be about the essential elements and approach of the Chartership assessment process. We look forward to a productive and informative session.
