Signing Ceremony and National Society Agreement (NSA) of KIVI and IEEE Benelux. IEEE, Olexander Yarovyi, and KIVI, Miguel Delcour, recently renewed their cooperation agreement and look forward to continuing their successful collaboration in the future.

KIVI - Koninklijk Instituut Van Ingenieurs (KIVI) (the Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers) is the largest engineering association in the Netherlands. Engineers are fully committed to improving the quality of life in our society with their indispensable knowledge and technological solutions for societal problems, and KIVI helps them with this. All engineering disciplines are represented within KIVI. KIVI was founded in
1847.

IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. IEEE, pronounced "Eye-triple-E," stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The organization is chartered under this name and it is the full legal name. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE's roots go back to 1884 when electricity began to become a major influence in society.

IEEE is committed to working with other National Societies to aid engineers and scientists throughout the world. These cooperative relationships are established through a memorandum of understanding and are known as National Society Agreements (NSA). KIVI and IEEE had an NSA before and have now renewed their agreement.

Members of KIVI and IEEE can participate in designated events, the chapters KIVI Informatica and IEEE TEMS have been doing so in the past, and the future creation and implementation of joint activities will foster this collaboration.
