De huidige generatie techniek studenten is de eerste die gaat werken binnen het nieuwe defensiedomein Ruimtevaart. Hierin komen lang niet alleen de technische aspecten aan bod. Integendeel. Dit nieuwe werkveld zal van ingenieurs vragen om politieke, operationele en technische aspecten te koppelen. Hoe dit er (ongeveer) uitziet, kun je ervaren in de online Wargame Space die door de afdeling ‘Defensie & veiligheid’ van KIVI wordt georganiseerd op 25 november 2020.

ELTA-100: Naar een toekomstbestendige luchtvaart
De Eerste Luchtverkeers Tentoonstelling Amsterdam (ELTA) vond plaats van 1 augustus-14 september 1919 op de Noordoevers van het IJ in Amsterdam en werd met meer dan een half miljoen bezoekers een ongekend succes in combinatie met de start van van KLM, Fokker, NLR en Schiphol in 1919 en de daaropvolgende vooraanstaande positie van ons land in de wereldluchtvaart. Na een korte terugblik is het symposium hedendaags- en toekomstgericht en wordt georganiseerd onder auspiciën van de KNVvL & IGC Amsterdam.
