Verslag NPT Café Oost 15 juni online
Op een van de eerste zomerse dagen van het jaar 2017 vond de 3e editie van het NPT Café Oost plaats in de warme salon van het Concordia theater aan de Oude Markt in Enschede. Bij dit evenement kwamen zo’n 25 procestechnologen en procestechnologen in spé bij elkaar voor een leerzame en tegelijkertijd gezellige avond. Lees hier het verslag.

Croda wint Responsible Care-prijs 2017
Het is voor de industrie van groot belang om goed te kijken naar het verwaarden van ‘reststromen’. Het Goudse chemiebedrijf Croda heeft maximaal nagedacht over hoe de reststromen – in dit geval glycerine – efficiënt te benutten. Door het project ‘Quarterback’ heeft Croda deze afvalstroom volledig opgeheven en ingezet als energiedrager voor de vergisting van biogas. Het bedrijf werd hiervoor op 1 juni beloond met de Responsible Care-prijs van de VNCI.
