Tian Xia
Tian Xia is a PhD candidate at the AiBLE Lab | TU Delft AI Labs and the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. He specializes in digital and sustainability transitions in the built environment. His research focuses on developing human-AI deliberation system in multi-stakeholder settings to achieve more inclusive, thoughtful, and responsible sustainability policies.
His work explores key questions:
- How can AI bring in the voices of different stakeholders into the deliberation?
- How can AI promote mutual understanding and reflection in deliberation?
- How can AI help find common ground towards more inclusive, thoughtful, and responsible sustainable policies for the built environment in deliberation?
- And how can AI and human actors learn through deliberation?
Additionally, he actively contributes to AI educational projects at TU Delft. Before joining TU Delft, he worked on developing research & development programs in an AI unicorn company in Shanghai.
