Projectmanagement in Eastern Europe
Omschrijving
Our guest speaker, Piet Dijkshoorn, has worked with his inspiring team, for five years as Manager Projects and Resources and as Advisor Organisational Developments in Central - & Eastern European Countries.
Within a framework of a program for mutual cooperation between The Netherlands and the new EU Member States about nine specific fields, regarding (road-)infrastructural developments, many useful experiences are gained and valuable social impacts were achieved.
The core of the program included both the exchange of knowledge and experiences, as coaching people, as well as the implementation of new knowledge, working methods and techniques.
It is precisely the element of 'coaching', that has made the program unique, and through
'mutual training on the job, both in Poland and in The Netherlands', the program has achieved an international reputation.
In this second presentation of the two-part lecture series, we will look more closely at (human) resources management and organizational (development) in road administration. This lecture will take us through Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia.
It is not necessary to have attended the first lecture.
