Baltic Surf-ace
Omschrijving
On December 5, 2012 the Baltic Ace sank into the North Sea and is now located in one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world and hinders a safe and quick passage towards the port of Rotterdam. Especially the 1400 pick-up trucks and more than 540,000 liters of heavy fuel oil onboard forms a direct threat to the marine environment. An enormous challenge for Boskalis and Mammoet to remove the wreck completely and safely before December 31, 2015.
