Human Limits At Sea + ALV
Omschrijving
Maritime and offshore equipment are designed to perform in demanding conditions, whilst ensuring maximum output and minimal risk. While more and more processes are autonomously controlled, personnel remains responsible at many different levels. At the physical level, personnel can be exposed to unexpected and repeated motions and forces, with the critical levels often unknown. At the cognitive level, decision-making processes, especially in critical scenarios, may prevent or lead to dramatic errors. This presentation highlights the human factor spectrum over these levels, based on example projects TNO is performing to optimize maritime and offshore operations.
The annual member meeting, starting at 6:00 PM, will precede the lecture.
