Essent is pleased to invite you to Mastering Biomass, an international Biomass Conference discussing the dual themes of biomass co-firing and biomass gasification, on location at Europe's leading power plant in this field. The two-day meeting, which will be held on Wednesday 4 November and Thursday 5 November, will take place at Essent’s Amer Power Plant in the Netherlands.

Mastering Biomass
The conference aims at exchanging knowledge about biomass co-firing, gasification and linked topics. With the conference Essent wants to encourage in-depth discussions with professionals from the international world of energy.
Guided tours of our state of the art co-firing and gasification plants will be offered during the two day conference.

Expert speakers from both Essent and the wider energy community will talk about:

Current successes and future opportunities in biomass co-firing and gasification
Policy, legislation and perspectives in the field of biomass co-firing and gasification and the need for a stable subsidy regime;
Essent’s technological developments in the field of biomass co-firing and gasification and our achievements to date;
Essent’s sustainable energy objectives as the driving force behind the large-scale use of sustainable biomass applications.
