EIRES | KIVI | TU/e Hydrogen event
Invitation
Dear all,
We, as KIVI Elektrical Engineering, warmly did welcome you to attend the TU/e Hydrogen event
On Monday 2 December, 13:30h-18:30h at TU/e Campus β Eindhoven.
Green Hydrogen
Green hydrogen is an important part of the transition to a sustainable energy supply. It is produced via water electrolysis, a process in which water is split into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable electricity.
The hydrogen can be used as a raw material for chemistry, as a fuel, and for the storage of renewable energy. What are the developments in the field of hydrogen at TU/e ββand the Brabant industry?
During this event we will inform you about developments in the field of hydrogen at TU/e, the Brabant industry and important projects of students and startups.
Your Hosts
The event is hosted by Team Energy, OCSET, DIFFER, KIVI, and EIRES and will feature talks from our own Hydrogen Expert, the BOM, the local hydrogen industry (VDL), and student teams.

An Afternoon of Innovation and Inspiration!
On 2 December, the hydrogen event was held in the conference room at DIFFER on the TU/e campus. The event brought together 100 professionals, academics, KIVI members, and students, all with a shared interest in hydrogen technology and its role in the energy transition.
The afternoon began with an introduction by Thijs de Groot, who provided a clear overview of the fundamentals and potential applications of hydrogen. This was followed by a presentation from Paul Gosselink, who discussed practical examples of hydrogen technology being implemented in the region.
Conversations and Inspiration
Representatives from companies such as Adsensys, Fluidwell, RIFT, and VDL-HS showcased their projects, highlighting the practical use of hydrogen in various innovative applications.
Then it continued with the participation of the visionary student teams, Team Solid and Team Shift. Their revolutionary ideas and innovative approaches left the audience in awe, reaffirming the role of young talent in shaping a sustainable future.
The event concluded on a with a lively networking session. Over drinks, attendees mingled, exchanged ideas, and forged valuable connections, adding to the collaborative spirit of the day. It was a day full of information, inspiration and connections. An afternoon Team Energy proudly looks back upon!
This event provided valuable insights and discussions on hydrogen technology and its applications, and Team Energy is pleased to have been part of this collaborative gathering.
