KIVI OT is thrilled to announce the celebration of our 55th year anniversary and the end of the 2023-2024 season! Join us for a Floating Offshore Wind workshop at the beach of Scheveningen!
This unique workshop promises to be both educational and enjoyable, offering invaluable insights into the world of floating offshore wind energy. Don't miss this opportunity to network with industry experts and celebrate our milestones together.
In collaboration with OffshoreWind4Kids, we are organizing a tailor-made workshop for students and professionals, ending with a drink and BBQ.
The workshop will end with an award ceremony for the most efficient and robust structure criteria explained on the day.
A professional jury consisting of David Molenaar (former CEO of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy BV), Nils van Nood (Senior Vice President NOV/GustoMSC) and William Beuckelaers (OffshoreWind4Kids) will challenge the structures and select the winning team.
During registration a small contribution of 20 EUR to the BBQ and drinks will be required. Please also indicate any dietary requirements.
Registration will end Friday 7 June 17:00.

14:30 Registration and welcome
15:00 Presentations by KIVI OT and OffshoreWind4Kids
15:40 Division in teams and ballast weight / buoyancy element calculations of various floating structures (e.g. TLP, semi-submersible, Spar buoy, etc.)
16:15 Installation in the water -> bring your swimming gear and a wetsuit or drysuit if you have one – shorts will also work
17:30 Award ceremony by jury and borrel
18:30 Decommissioning and start BBQ
20:00 End event
