Margot Dijker is no longer a stranger to Commercial Engineer; she practically gives the 'Workload Management' workshop every year. Tonight she stood before 28 enthusiastic participants to talk about 'influencing'.

In an interactive evening, participants were first challenged via an exercise to 'get someone on board' in a completely new situation. After it could be concluded that this was not entirely successful, a piece of theory was discussed. The participants were taken into the world of the brain, eventually arriving at the model of influence. They then dwelled on influence techniques through the 'Rose of Leary'. Finally, the group was once again challenged to put what they had learned into practice.

In short, it was a very interesting and active evening. The activity was rated with an average rating of 8.2 for price/quality. Most participants indicated that further in-depth training is desired, so we will put that together.

Some quotes from participants:

A short, very informative training!
Very affordable!
Thanks for the very informative evening!

Description

Influencing others is something you do every day, often unconsciously and with varying results. Sometimes you succeeded but don't feel so good about the way you did it. Other times, it actually went easier than you expected. In this workshop, we discuss exactly what influencing is, the influencing process and influencing techniques. The idea is to use these techniques in such a way that you get the other person on board without putting pressure on the relationship.

17.00 Reception with soup and sandwiches (included in the price)
18:00 Start of workshop
21:00 End of workshop

A break with coffee/tea is included during the workshop.
