Power Up! Recharge Your Potential
After an initial introduction to each other, participants were asked to think about the common threads in their lives: what themes recur every time. It was then further explored what roles you hold in your life, both solicited and unsolicited. It then became clear how many roles a person plays in their life! Then the five most important life roles were further elaborated, including core values. Finally, the participants had to imagine themselves in a situation/role in which they did not feel comfortable, and then see which skills from other roles could be used in this.
All this can also be applied to the commercial engineer, who also fulfils many roles: technician, consultant, commercial manager, supervisor, project leader, etc. Each of these roles requires specific skills.
In summary, this was an extremely interesting, confrontational and informative masterclass, partly due to the open discussions between the participants and the exuberance and enthusiasm of Bonnie Williams. Attendees rewarded it all with 8 as an average mark, with the price/quality also rated as very good.
