Mini seminar Energy for change
Description
The lectures are about energy. There are five lectures in total, four lectures in two parallel sessions.We will conclude the seminar with a panel discussion.
The topics are:
1. Energy agreement
What does the energy agreement mean and what is the impact.
2. Energy generation
Focusing on CHP, modern gas and coal-fired power plants and their performance compared to renewables such as biomass, solar and wind. Why are many units now idle, is this going to change, what do we need in the future to secure our energy supply at acceptable costs.
3. Energy distribution
Alliander, develops new energy distribution concepts with a large share of renewable energy, works extensively with governments and industry.
4. Energy storage
Energy storage, utopia or necessity by 2020. How do we ensure that energy supply and demand, mainly electricity, are in balance? Which solutions are most promising.
5. Energy saving
Energy saving, the practical approach and application of energy management systems.Bruno Mulder, very well known in the paper industry, has carried out the necessary projects for the VNP in this field and has several publications to his name. He talks about the usefulness and necessity of energy management and EED.
