In this lecture organised by TU Delft's Pandora Dispuut, Martijn Coeveld of TBA discussed how TBA applies simulation to optimise the productivity and efficiency of container terminals. TBA is a company founded by a TU Delft alumnus that advises terminal operators and port authorities around the world.

Description

The second lunch lecture of the academic year will be given by Martijn Coeveld (TBA) on October the 14th. The goal of TBA is to improve the productivity and efficiency of container terminals using tools like simulation. They are very successful in doing so, since their clients include all the major terminal operators in the world as well as many local ports! Since their expertise fits so well with our field of study, it should be a very exciting lecture for all TEL students.

Lunch will be provided, but supply is of course limited.
