Behaviour, Personality & Communication
KNS-Twente organised the 'Personality & Behaviour' workshop on 29 November in collaboration with W.S.G. Abacus, I.C.T.S.V. Inter-Actief and E.T.S.V. Scintilla.
The over two-hour workshop was conducted by Joost Assink of The Next Wise Program. During the first part, he explained the theoretical aspects of human behaviour. He then described four types of people using the DISC method, talking about the high I's in Hollywood and where the X-Factor really is. It was then explained how best to approach these people and what are learning points for these people themselves. At the end, Joost Assink allowed us to practice applying the graphs resulting from the DISC test.
There were 22 people present at the workshop who on average gave this activity an 8. We are very happy that reservation problems regarding the venue did not negatively affect the activity.
If you would like to try the DISC test yourself, go to this site! The test takes a while, but then you get something. Instead of a graph, which Joost Assink showed us, you get a pie chart as a result.

Expertise and experience are especially useful if you know how to communicate it to your colleagues, customers or suppliers. That seems easier than it is!
Among the topics discussed are:
- How are people put together?
- How well do I know myself?
- How aware am I of my behaviour and communication?
In this workshop, given by Joost Assink, we will make a start on (self)awareness of behaviour and human interaction.
This workshop has been organised in cooperation with the EWI study associations Abacus, Scintilla and Inter-Actief.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for socialising over a drink
