CEO Grolsch Rob Snel
On Tuesday 15 May, the fifth CEO lecture organised by KNS Twente took place. This time, Rob Snel, former CEO of Grolsch, was on hand to talk about his career and the doings within Royal Grolsch.
In a humorous and very interactive way, the 75 students present were told a story that started with Rob Snel's birth somewhere off the coast of Africa. This was followed by a detailed description of his childhood and especially his student days in the Netherlands. During this time, the first contact with Grolsch also took place which, according to Rob Snel, is still the tastiest beer and which he prefers even more than wine. After a few detours, he actually ended up at Grolsch and here a CEO position soon followed, with all the associated fun and problems. After a closing round of questions, with lots of fun questions from the audience, it was time for the students to have a real 'product confrontation' over drinks. In short, a fun and relaxed afternoon for the students that was nevertheless full of tips, learning moments and surprising insights that Rob Snel introduced us to.
