Collaboration for advocacy and development of engineers
KIVI works with various organisations and education to promote the interests of engineers and help advance their professionalism. Both nationally and internationally.
ENGINEERS EUROPE
KIVI is a member of ENGINEERS EUROPE, the federation of European engineering associations. KIVI members get access to a European training database, international certification and the opportunity to contribute to European policy. As a result, KIVI strengthens the position and opportunities of Dutch engineers in Europe.
Governance Code for Safety in Construction
The Governance Code for Safety in Construction (GCVB) was drawn up in 2014 to improve the safety culture in construction in a broad sense. KIVI is one of the initiators and signatories of the GCVB.
The New Engineers
On 20 November 2026, KIVI and The New Engineers will organise the first ever Day of the New Engineer at KIVI in The Hague. A day that will enable you to take a big step towards a job in engineering.
4TU.Federation
KIVI recently launched a collaboration with the 4TU.Federation to further strengthen EngD programmes in the Netherlands. This collaboration aims to support the next generation of engineers and technology designers by connecting students, industry and research institutions.
ESG4Future
ESG4FUTURE is a 24-month Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in VET. The project strengthens ESG competencies among VET students and trainers through research-driven curriculum development, practical testing in VET contexts, and creation of institutional guidance and policy-oriented outputs. The consortium agreed that the project will keep a balanced focus on Environment, Social and Governance aspects and will translate outcomes into feasible educational and organisational practices.
