Experiences from an Operator’s perspective
Ørsted is the global market leader in offshore wind farms. In The Netherlands Ørsted has developed offshore wind farms Borssele 1&2, which are delivering power to the grid since April 2020. The wind farms were officially opened in September 2021.
Klaasjaap Buijs was closely involved in the development and construction of these wind farms, as well as for new tenders and offshore wind developments in The Netherlands.
Prepare for an exciting and insightful lecture about the challenges and successes of offshore wind in our backyard from an operator's perspective.
