Joint Strike Fighter (JSF)
Omschrijving
The decision to purchase the JSF has been taken by the Netherlands government and was endorsed by parliament. Now it is time to reflect on the status of the programme and learn from what happened in the past 10 years.
During the technology block of this mini-symposium Jan Verbeek of ADSE will explain the most important industrial innovations in the F35 with a focus on the Netherlands industry.
Furthermore we will learn about the experiences and challenges of Ming Ming Yu, a recent graduate from the Delft University of Technology, now working on the F35 project for Fokker Landing Gear BV.
In the political block we will learn about the need for fighter jets, their use in the Netherlands Air Force and the reason for the selection of the F35 from André Bosman, a former F16 pilot, now Member of the Netherlands Parliament for the liberal party VVD.
