Agnes van Uitert

Agnes van Uitert is sinds 2020 Systeem specialist Geotechniek bij ProRail. Vanuit deze functie is ze inhoudelijk betrokken bij projecten, het opstellen van beleid en bij de uitwerking van innovaties op het vlak van ondergrond en baanlichamen.

Afgestudeerd als Ingenieurs Geoloog begon Agnes van Uitert in 2005 bij Arcadis. Hier werkte ze aan verscheidene toonaangevende projecten op het vlak van Geotechniek als op het vlak van Trillingenprognoses voor zowel spoortrillingen als bouwtrillingen.

Diana Portillo Arreguin

Diana Portillo Arreguin is an advisor and researcher at Deltares, specialising in geotechnical engineering for flood defence infrastructure. With five years of experience in the field, she works on challenges related to piping and dike macrostability, integrating data analysis, laboratory experiments, and numerical modelling. Her expertise extends from soil–structure interaction in soft soils to current research on the micro- and macro-stability of flood defences. Diana holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a master’s in Geo-Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Driven by a commitment to public safety and community well-being, her work contributes to strengthening flood resilience and ensuring that people remain safe and dry.
