From 9 – 12 September 2025, the Croatian Geotechnical Society will host the 29th European Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference (EYGEC) in Rijeka, Croatia.
The society invites all the European ISSMGE member societies to nominate young engineers and PhD students to present their work in geotechnical engineering. Each national society is encouraged to nominate two candidates to attend the conference.
Like the previous valuable conferences of European young geotechnical engineers, the conference in Rijeka aims to create a solid foundation for young European geotechnical engineers to establish contacts and promote long-term collaboration.
The Croatian Geotechnical Society and the international geotechnical community greatly appreciate the participation of representatives from national societies.
The KIVI Geotechnical department will sponsor two participants from the Netherlands.
Submitting an abstract is possible until December 15. For more details and registration send an email to eygec2025@gradri.uniri.hr. After submitting your abstract, please also send an email to nssmge@kivi.nl with your motivation why you want to participate and your CV.
