In research to these answers RH Marine developed CAS (Collision avoidance System), enabling autonomous navigation. This is a system which is able to take decisions on its own, with as its main goal avoiding collisions and avoiding grounding. In this presentation we will guide you in our journey of development and the real live testing of this system on board of different types of vessels.
