 COURSE CONTENT:

 The global energy transition results in an increasing demand of high purity metals for construction and electrification and highgrade precursors, mainly for batteries, electronics, magnets, superalloys, PVpanels and ceramics. Critical raw materials are obtained by both urban and ore mining. In the value chain from resource to endproducts, combinations of hydrometallurgical unit operations play a crucial role in purification and formulation.

  • Electrowinning and cementation
