As monopiles grow in size and weight, their impact on jack-up platforms during installation becomes increasingly critical, particularly during the transition through the waterline.

GustoMSC has developed a representative model to assess these dynamic scenarios and ensure safe operations.

This lecture will provide an overview of monopile installation using jack-ups, focusing on the lowering phase, illustrated through a relevant case study.

Presenter: Joaquin Bilbao GustoMSC

Prior to the technical presentation, Marc Doorduin, Commercial Director, will provide an introductory overview of jack-up platforms and their role in offshore wind installation.
