Since its foundation in 1978, Bluewater has built a technological lead specialising in design, development, lease and operation of Floating Production and Energy Systems, and has become a leading provider of innovative Single Point Mooring Systems. Bluewater has designed, manufactured, supplied and installed many innovative Floating Production and Energy Systems for the energy industry worldwide through turnkey supply and time charter contracts. Bluewater also provides operational and logistic management and support for offshore Production and Energy Systems. Since 2006 Bluewater has developed various technologies for renewable energy.

Digitalization and data-driven insights are redefining operational awareness and asset integrity across the offshore industry. This presentation explores the continuous performance monitoring of turret-moored floating production systems, using the Aoka Mizu FPSO—equipped with an extensive sensor suite and operating in the challenging West of Shetland environment—as a case study. The onboard monitoring system delivers real-time data that enables evaluation of structural responses under varying weather and operational conditions. By integrating contextual analytics with live operational data, we demonstrate how the use of real-time data empowers proactive asset management and unlocks new value.
