We can look back on a highly interactive meeting with intensive exchanges on identity and image. It started with a bit of theory on reputation management.

With a strong reputation, you can permanently distinguish your organisation. Speaking with one voice, customer recognition and customer loyalty. These are some of the effects of reputation management. When an organisation clearly states what it stands for, it can thereby more easily remove a customer's uncertainties regarding a product or service. Employees will be more satisfied and engaged. Future employees will also see your organisation as an attractive employer, making recruitment easier. Moreover, a strong reputation results in improved financial results. An identity that is fully integrated is difficult to copy and provides a competitive edge.

Even if you do nothing, a reputation emerges. The question is which one! And more importantly, to what extent does the reputation contribute to your strategy? Reputation management is especially interesting for organisations in which there is movement.

At the end of the workshop, two groups visualised the identity and image of two companies. Their presentation generated another lively discussion.

Description

Name recognition of an organisation is important to have a preferred position in the mind of your (potential) customer. Even more important is how you are known! Often, an organisation has a picture of who it wants to be and how it wants to be known. Reliable, innovative, personal, professional, or otherwise...
But what is the perception of your (potential) customers? What do they experience during your service? Do they also have the perception, that you are reliable, innovative, personal and professional?
The other side of the same coin is how well do you know your customers? Do you know your customers so well that you are able to match your organisation, products and services completely to-the-point seamlessly to present needs?
