World Engineering Day 2022 (WED2022) 24HRS LIVE
A Global 24-hour Celebration of World Engineering Day 2022
The 24HRS LIVE event will be delivered via a “news studio streaming hub”. A high value production, TV-style program, will be streamed directly to the World Engineering Day homepage. World Engineering Day events that are registered on the website will be selected to feature on the World Engineering Day 24HRS LIVE event, depending on the willingness of the event hosts to participate.
Starting on 4 March 2022 morning in New Zealand/Australia, WFEO will connect with selected locations in a number of regions as they celebrate engineers and World Engineering Day. As the sun moves around the world, celebrations will be featured on line. A number of recorded events and presentations and messages will also be featured.
The broadcast will have high level speakers, panel discussions and guests all talking about engineering and focusing on the theme for World Engineering Day 2022. The broadcast will also feature interviews with leaders from UNESCO, WFEO and its members, affiliates, associates, sponsors and partners as well as leaders from engineering companies, universities, academies and other organisations around the world. This will also be an opportunity for thought leadership especially from young engineers. The winners of the international engineering student competition (the Hackathon) will also be featured.
