Maarten Staats is Strategic Expert Energytransition at Dutch DSO Enexis Netbeheer. Within this role he analyses the impact of the energy transition on the electricity and gas grids. He has been involved in generating capacity maps and long-term energy outlooks such as the Integral Infrastructure-outlook 2030-2050 (II3050). In his personal time, Maarten has developed the first European overview of grid capacity maps and built the free online tool www.gridcapacitymaps.eu.
