EIRES: Energy Days 2023

Energy Conversion and Storage Processes such as the photovoltaic generation of electric power, the storage in batteries or the conversion into chemical energy carriers such as hydrogen and synthetic fuels are currently either not efficient enough, require rare or toxic materials and catalysts, or are simply too expensive. New developments and technologies will be discussed from industry and academic perspective. Fundamental understanding is one of the key elements to enable large-scale energy storage and conversion in the context of renewable energy technologies. Multiscale modeling and supercomputers can bridge many orders of magnitude and study these processes from the detailed elementary molecular reactions up to entire reactors, fuel cells and (flow) batteries.

Terugkijken ElaadNL: Webtalk #57 Laden op de bouwplaats en Gridshield conferentie

Elektrificatie van bouwmaterieel is een belangrijke ontwikkeling om de bouw schoner, gezonder en stiller te maken. Netbeheerders spannen zich in om de bijpassende stroomvoorziening veilig en maatschappelijk verantwoord te faciliteren. Hoe gaan we al dat bouwmaterieel van stroom voorzien? Recent ondertekenden 45 partijen, waaronder ElaadNL en NBNL, het convenant SEB om deze transitie gezamenlijk mogelijk te maken.

In dit lunch webinar ging we het over de volgende vragen: – hoe kan de Transitie van “Gas naar Waterstof” worden ingevuld en vorm krijgen? – wat zijn de gevolgen voor het aardgasleidingnet, de import van waterstof en – hoe is de samenhang met elektriciteit, dit alles gezien vanuit de visie van de Gasunie. De heer Adriaan de Bakker, senior Advisor Strategy Gasunie heeft deze aspecten behandeld en de aanpak en strategie voor een efficiënte transitie uit een gezet. De heer Bakker heeft eerder op het symposium “Waterstof in NL: Energie voor de nabije toekomst?” op 25 maart 2021 met succes bijdragen geleverd aan het Delta plan Regionale Energie Strategie.
