Electronics in the cars become even more important for electric cars. Lars Reger is the CTO of NXP automotive and also Senior Vice President.
He has a broad experience in automotive products and is willing to talk to us about the many products NXP is providing now and and also about new application areas like telematics and car-to-X Communications, NFC in the car, LED lighting and software-defined radio.

Head of Strategy, New Business and R&D, NXP Automotive, has been confirmed for the Autonomous Car session of the safety stream on day 2 at Automotive World’s CV Megatrends Europe 2013, taking place on 13 November 2013.
Lars Reger is Vice President Strategy, New Business, and R&D for the Automotive business unit at NXP, the independent semiconductors company founded by Philips. Lars is responsible for managing NXP’s portfolio of automotive products, developing new business opportunities and defining NXP’s automotive strategy. In January 2012, he also took over the responsibility of the global R&D activities for NXP’s automotive business. He joined NXP in February 2008.
