Els Uijterlinde
Els Uijterlinde is a research farmer at Erve Mentink. After studying Animal Sciences at Wageningen University, she worked as Technical Sales Manager Feed Additives to improve animal welfare and productivity through better intestinal health. Since 2015, Els and her husband Gerard (Biosystems Engineer) have been continuing the family business with 200 dairy cows on 100 hectares of land as the4th generation. They use their scientific background at KIEM B.V. to develop knowledge for a future-proof livestock industry that works on closing cycles, produces healthy and safe food and ensures sufficient biodiversity in an attractive landscape.
