Erik Jongenotter
Function: traffic engineer
After graduating from HTS-Verkeerskunde, Erik Jongenotter worked for five years in traffic control engineering at suppliers of traffic control installations. He has now been working at Witteveen+Bos for more than 30 years. Step by step, he has expanded his traffic engineering expertise. As an experienced project manager, he is involved in a large number of traffic engineering projects. As a specialist, he also frequently provides traffic engineering input in large and small multidisciplinary and integrated projects. He has a strong problem-solving ability when it comes to traffic engineering solutions. Especially in projects where the objective is to make optimal use of the available infrastructure within a limited physical space. In doing so, Erik likes to come up with creative, future-oriented solutions. He does so with an open eye for current traffic policy, stakeholder interests and the way the infrastructure fits into the environment, with the aim of achieving sustainable and widely supported traffic solutions. Erik regularly collaborates intensively with (landscape) architects for an optimal coherence of accessibility and spatial quality.
