- What to expect
A KIVI engineering coach stimulates, reflects, inspires and takes an independent look at your specific situation. As a confidential sounding board, the coach will hold up a mirror to you and increase insight into your professional and personal qualities. You will not only get a fresh view on your career, but also practical advice on job applications and access to the valuable KIVI network. For international professionals, KIVI engineering coaches are available who can coach in English.
- How does it work?
This coaching programme is unique and unrivalled in its effectiveness, as you will be paired with an experienced engineer who knows your challenges from personal experience. The process is simple and goal-oriented. You start by filling in an application form, after which KIVI carefully selects a coach that perfectly matches your needs and background. This personal match ensures an optimal coaching experience. After the introduction, you and your coach determine the further course of action, with confidentiality and your personal growth being key.

The Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) is the professional association for all (aspiring) engineers in the Netherlands. KIVI engineers have very diverse backgrounds and a wealth of experience. Experience they are happy to share with students so that they can prepare themselves for professional practice.

Experienced engineers will share their personal experiences of professional practice, you can ask questions and discuss options for your career choices.
