General terms and conditions for room hire
- We can leave the option up to a week in advance. Should a new application come in the meantime, we do ask that a decision be made within 24 hours.
- If the reservation is cancelled, the contractor will owe 50% of the rental price if the cancellation is made no later than one month before the reserved date. If the reservation is cancelled within one month before the reserved date, the full rental price is due.
- Refreshments etc. will only be provided through the intermediary of the lessor.
- Subject to timely notice, a limited number of (bread) meals may be served. The number of meals should be given to the lessor no later than 2 working days before the reserved date. At least the number of meals specified will be charged to the lessee.
- The last provision of refreshments etc. is no later than 10pm. The halls and rooms should be vacated at 23.00.
- Goods belonging to the lessee or third parties are in the Institute Building at their risk; the lessor does not charge itself with insuring them.
- The landlord accepts no liability for bodily or mental injury, for damage to third parties caused by their tenants or guests of tenants.
- Upon entering into this agreement, the tenant accepts liability for damage to the buildings, installations and all other inventory caused by himself or his guests and is obliged to reimburse the lessor for the repair costs of such damage.
- Except with the written approval of the lessor, no changes or modifications may be made to the interior of the leased property.
- The tenant shall ensure that the premises leased to him retain their present appearance during the rental period and are used for their intended purpose.
- Agreements deviating from the above conditions must be confirmed by the parties in writing.
