The KIVI EngD Award recognises the outstanding achievements of EngD graduates 2025 who combine scientific rigour with real-world impact. Finalists for this award have demonstrated excellence in applying advanced engineering knowledge to solve complex industrial and societal challenges.
The applications will be measured by an independent jury consisting of various representative members from academia, industry and society along the following pillars:
- Innovation – creative and practical solutions that push the boundaries of engineering.
- Impact – measurable contributions to industry, research, or society.
- Leadership & Collaboration – inspiring teamwork, professionalism, and knowledge transfer across disciplines.
By celebrating these qualities, the award does not only honor individual achievements, but also raises awareness of the EngD programme’s unique contribution to the Dutch innovation ecosystem.
