Decommissioning of Low Flux Reactor
Description
After a long preparation period, NRG's Low Flux Reactor in Petten was recently decommissioned. Until 2010, this small reactor was widely used. For example, for medical research, but also for screening materials using neutrons. Decommissioning began in February 2016. The project manager of this decommissioning, Guido Visser, was prepared to talk about the project approach to decommissioning and the technique of dismantling the reactor.
