Generation of thermoelectric power
Description
Founded in 2000 as a spin-off from ECN, RGS Development engages in "tapecasting" of silicon, which enables cost-effective production of silicon slabs.
RGS develops special slilicium assemblies to further develop the properties of silicon for high-tech power generation.
One of these developments concerns the generation of thermoelectric materials, in which locally available low-grade heat can be converted directly into electricity. What these materials must comply with, and how this can be realised, will become clear during the presentation.
Prior to the presentation, the annual meeting of the Alkmaar region will take place.
