Description

Following the New Year's reception of the Alkmaar region, Cock Heemskerk, owner of high-tech company HIT from Delft and also the new robotics lecturer at Inholland Alkmaar, will present recent results of the developments around care robot Rose on 17 January. Rose aims to increase the productivity of caregivers, improve the quality of care and allow people to live independently for longer. In recent field tests, Rose has, among other things, set tables with various residents of two care institutions, indicated objects (including personal care), collected and delivered laundry, collected rubbish, assisted clients in an activating way, and acted as an extension of first- or second-line care providers.
