After the successful first activity in November 2021, the KIVI Circle Caribbean is organising its second activity on 17 February next.
Ademas Dr Bulbaai ta un Master in Business Administration.
E titulo di e disertacion di Dr Bulbaai ta "Toward 100% Sustainable Energy Production and a structural decrease in energy demand: CuraƧao, as a case study of Small Island Developing States".
KIVI Kring Caribbean ta invita tur ingenieronan profesional pa atende e webinar aki y inscribi via e link

KIVI Engineering Association organises its second activity on energy efficient building design in a tropical climate
After the successful first activity in November 2021, in which more than 40 engineers participated, the KIVI Circle Caribbean is organising its second activity on 17 February 2022 from 6 to 7 p.m. via digital media (Webinar). Please note: Dutch time 23:00-24:00.
This Webinar is entitled "Energy Efficient Building Design for a tropical climate" where information will be given to professional engineers on how to design buildings in the tropics as energy efficient as possible. The Webinar will be presented by D. Richenel Bulbaai, currently Rector of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of CuraƧao.
In 2019, Dr Richenel Bulbaai received his PhD from the Technical University of Twente (Netherlands) after studying electrical engineering at the University of CuraƧao and Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands). In addition, Dr Richenel Bulbaai holds a "Master's degree in Business Administration".
The title of Dr Richenel Bulbaai's dissertation is "Toward 100% Sustainable Energy Production and a structural decrease in energy demand: CuraƧao, as a case study of Small Island Developing States". He is very interested in designing and constructing buildings where tropical climate needs to be taken into account. In his presentation, Dr Bulbaai will give more information on the principles for designing in the tropics, taking into account air movement in a building as illustrated below.
