At a successful meeting with over 20 enthusiastic participants, the KIVI Kring Caribbean Curaçao was officially launched on 6 April
The main goal of the KIVI Kring Caribbean Curaçao is to raise the standard of living on the islands through sustainable technologies, while optimally protecting people, nature and the environment. Importantly, the integrity of the engineer will be central to this. The KIVI Ethnic Code will be used for this purpose.
Board member Richenel Bulbaai, dean Faculty of Engineering at University of Curacao, gave a presentation with information about KIVI and the benefits of membership. Plans for 2023 were also presented. Richenel's presentation can be downloaded from this link.
Ms Rubiele Lampe was present on behalf of the board of KIVI Kring Caribbean Aruba, she shared valuable insights and experiences with us. The Kring in Aruba started in 2021 and is now running at full speed. Meetings allow engineers from Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten and the BES islands to exchange knowledge and experience. Conferences, webinars and excursions are organised on a regular basis.
