The main goal of KIVI-Kring Caribbean is to help improve the quality of life on the aforementioned islands through the use of sustainable technology that optimally protects people, nature and the environment. Central to this is the integrity of the engineer. Leading the way is the KIVI Code of Ethics (see KIVI Code of Ethics 2018.pdf ).

The first activity has already been planned: an introductory drink on Tuesday 30 November from 6 to 8 pm. This activity will take place at Aruba Experience at John. G. Emanstraat 37, Oranjestad.

In the KIVI Newsletter of 26 October 2021, the Main Board of the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI: see The Royal Institute of Engineers | KIVI) and the KIVI team warmly welcomed its new KIVI Circle Caribbean.

Founded on 31 August 1847, under the patronage of the then Prince of Orange, KIVI is the professional association of engineers in the Netherlands with over 17,000 members. It supports engineers in their professional practice and recognition of the value of their work.

In addition, KIVI helps engineers make connections with research, education, society and, of course, each other. In doing so, it also helps ensure the quality of education and research, deploy engineers' work and knowledge in the service of social issues and make the impact of technology on society visible.

To this end, KIVI works together with the technical business community, knowledge institutions, higher education, the government and foreign partners.
