Rotterdam as smartest port of Europe, time to innovate.
The time when many parties in the port of Rotterdam managed logistics processes separately is over. Collaboration leads to strong improvements and has now been embraced by many partners within the logistics port sector.
The next phase will be dominated by application of technologies that will support administrative work to a large extent and even break years / centuries of existing processes. See the rise of the self-driving car, similarly technology will become even more applied in the transport and logistics sector.
The presentation gives an overview of the current situation and a look ahead to the increasing use of IT within the logistics sector
