Do you also sometimes suffer from unexplained faults in electrical equipment? Is the lifespan of equipment shorter than expected? Chances are it is due to poor quality of voltage and current. This is because the quality of the voltage and current has a major influence on the process in the technical environment.

During this session, I will explain what Power Quality is, the relationship between voltage, current and power and the interaction between voltage and current. It is not always clear who has what responsibility when it comes to Power Quality. Using applicable standards and guidelines, it becomes clear where these responsibilities lie.

How do contemporary technologies affect the quality of the mains voltage? Think of consumers such as LED lighting, EV charging points or heat pumps, but also of decentralised feeding into the grid via wind turbines and PV panels.

And finally, what possibilities are there to improve or better still prevent poor quality of the mains voltage.

The drinks will start at 18:00 and the meal will follow promptly at 19:00.
