Mini-Symposium Fly Shame + ALV
After a long radio silence, a renewed Aerospace department board is in the starting blocks. We will kick off on Tuesday evening 17 September with a mini-symposium on flight embarrassment. We would therefore like to invite you to the following parts:
First of all, there will be an ALV from 18.00-19.00. In this ALV, the new departmental board members will be introduced. The candidate board members will be announced at a later time. Those who want to can avail of a sandwich meal by signing up for it. The AGM is open to Aerospace Section members only.
From 19.00-22.00, there will be a mini-symposium on the theme of flight embarrassment. The symposium will start with a lecture by Peter Kortbeek, manager of the Technology Office at GKN Fokker and representative of the CleanSky programme. Arvind Gangoli Rao (Associate Professor TU Delft) will speak on developments in aircraft propulsion and Hans van Weerdenburg (Former training supervisor ATCO and ATM specialist) on the (re)arrangement of airspace and its environmental impact. The evening will conclude with drinks.
NB: Due to our guest speakers, the mini-symposium will be in English.
