The KIVI departments of Tunnel Engineering and Underground Works (TTOW) and Maintenance are involved in the design and maintenance of cut-and-cover tunnels, bored tunnels, immersed tunnel, their exits and entrances, sunken roads and railways, tunnel installations, lighting, ventilation and so on, underground construction, underground spaces and basement structures, among others.

The TTOW and Maintenance departments are jointly organising a workshop that brings together the two worlds of maintenance and design. We can learn a lot from each other and the synergies and dependencies between these two disciplines are great. Using three practical examples, four speakers will take us through what smart maintenance can mean for operators, how contracts could be marketed but tips and tricks for tunnel designers.

The workshop will take place digitally on Thursday 29 April 2021 from 16:00-18:00. You can register via the website.
