On 13 February, interested parties in Locks and Maintenance met at the KIVI Maintenance Event "Visit maintenance organisation Beatrix Locks".
The aim of the event was to give interested KIVI members and non-members an inside look at a DBFM contract. They were told, how client Rijkswaterstaat and contractor Sas van Vreeswijk started together and how soon the Maintenenance club (called MTC) will perform the maintenance for more than 25 years based on predetermined performance and discounts(penalties).
