An Innovation Pavilion will be built at Kloosters car park and petrol station on the A58 in 2025. This is one of the living labs of Rijkswaterstaat's living lab InovA58. Here, sustainable innovations for the infrastructure sector and a sustainable living environment will be tested and where possible then scaled up in other projects.

After all, sustainable innovations are badly needed to ensure a healthy future for our world. Road construction is also doing its bit. This sector is continuously working on new sustainable materials, equipment and working methods. But how do we know for sure whether these new initiatives actually have a positive impact?

living lab InnovA58 at service station Kloosters on the A58 is the place to test innovations, learn from them and develop them further. InnovA58 is a unique Rijkswaterstaat project, where over 58 sustainable innovations are now being and have been tested together with the market, knowledge institutions and fellow authorities. For example, innovative noise barriers have been tested, all kinds of sustainable asphalt, road markings, road furniture, lighting, etc.

Programme:
- Reception at the Innovation Pavilion
- Presentation on the pavilion, a special building and unique collaboration
- Handling a case on the water task at InnovA58. The case will be worked out and provided to participants a week in advance so that they can prepare for it. Duration 1 to 1.5 hours (including break)
- Going outside to take a closer look at the latest innovations
